The holidays in New York City has got to be my favorite time of the year. I love the glitzy and cute window displays, and making a trip to Rockefeller center to see the tree. I’ve always wondered, and wanted to see, how the truck bringing the massive tree in maneuvers the streets of the city.
Anyhoo, this week I went to see the tree with my best friend, as well as take in the fun light and projection show that Saks Fifth Ave puts on.
You can’t see in the above photo, but under the tree is an ice skating rink, and watching all the people twirling (or attempting to twirl) below always makes me wish I was coordinated enough to skate.
Last night, Xmas Eve, was the annual holiday party at my family friends’ apartment, and I’ve got to say that I’m still in love with the dress I wore… even after I managed to spill red wine on it. Fingers crossed that the rest will come out in the wash!

Now if only I had managed to clean up the table… Just noticed the slight mess. Haha, but the party was quite fun this year, I’ll admit. It’s an interesting situation to be in when you’re the only person in their twenties at a party of teens and forty-year-olds with no in-between. I always get the same questions about college and dating, which can make for awkward or hilarious responses.
I have to apologize for the lack of updates. Senior year of college is a lot more hectic than I could have imagined, but! I’ve got my camera, and now I have a tripod (which was not used in taking these photos, thank my little brother for these *gems*)! So, hopefully, I’ll be able to update with more outfits of the day posts, as well as finally get to those fashion profiles I’ve been planning!
The New Year will most certainly bring a lot of new experiences, and hopefully more free time to keep updating FV. Thanks so much for sticking with me, and I hope you all had a wonderful holiday, whatever you celebrate!
