‘Spoopy’ Salem!

Heads up, this is one of my favorite holidays! Happy week of Halloween, lovelies! I got to spend this Sunday with my roomie in Salem, Massachusetts, home of spells, witchcraft, and lots of American history. Salem is where the infamous witch trials took place, and attracts hundreds of curious, mischief-seeking, costumed tourists every year around this time. Perfect timing was this trip because I had just recently bought this beautiful navy blue velvet skater dress that I’m currently obsessed with! Great witchy vibes all around!

I’ve been to Salem a handful of times, but my roommate, Nicole, hadn’t. So I got to rediscover it with her. Also dawned in velvet, she looked pretty wicked herself.

Whoops, just realized Nicole’s boots got cut off in the photo. Trust me though, they’re cute (secretly wish they were in my size so I could “borrow” them…)! We wandered the cobble-stoned streets and I found a little shop that I just had to go into. If not noted before, I’m a huge Harry Potter fan, so when I found this wand shop, Wynott’s Wands, I got a little over-excited.

It was a great trip and I definitely recommend visiting if you ever have the chance!

P.S. If you’re wondering what’s up with “spoopy”, it’s an inside joke between Nicole and I (as well as all of Tumblr). Want in on the joke? Just google it! ;P
